The foundation began its operations in 2012 seeking to strengthen health in 11 communities through the primary care model. The scope has been individual, familiar and community. The axes of the program are:
Comprehensive vision of the family
Timely assistance in native language
Promotion of family health self-care
Home visits for seniors and high-risk patients
Deworming sessions for general population
Medical consults for general population
Educational sessions with women on health and hygene
Detection, care and monitoring of chronic diseases such as: Diabetes & Arterial Hypertension
The program must evolve pursuant the current conditions and needs, achieving sustainable changes in the communities through programs focused on health, economic development and education which are consistent to the community’s social and environmental surroundings to create a better future.
28 health guards, who are trained and have basic primary care equipment
Sessions on the 19 practices with 75% of the families
11 medicine cabinets located in each community in the area influence
